Caring for our Foster Children

TURN is transforming the community of hurting children in Riverside through our collaboration with Riverside County’s Child Protective Services (CPS). TURN’s staff engages directly with foster families and equips community partners to become foster parents, mentors, advocates, provide in-kind donations and prevent further children from being placed in foster care. TURN’s partnership with CPS has become a model for Riverside County and the Inland Empire. By working with TURN, CPS has found a quick, well-coordinated way to identify foster parents, address the needs of families in crisis, create support groups, connect mentors to struggling parents, and care for the emotional needs of social workers and foster families.
